i may or may not be seeing dead people

Nose
Throat

Those are the 3 things that I actually need to know for my major, but yet they require me to study the ENTIRE body.

I have touched dead bodies.
muscles. tendons. bones. cartilage. intestines. skin.
and i smell bad. like really bad.

 and the brain is next week. eep!

But hey, I haven't puked or passed out.
Optimism.
Yup.


Tomorrow is my quiz for the lower body/back/abdominal and I am really hoping I do alright cuz I am NERVOUS!

Day 7

Today I am grateful for Brigham Young University.

My classes.
My teachers.
The Honor Code.
The clubs.
The faculty.
All the free stuff.
The environment.
The strong testimony of the school.
Being around people who believe the same that I do.

I really couldn't imagine a better place to go to school.

I am surrounded by some of the most brilliant, beautiful, smart, funny people in the entire world.

Excited for life.

That is how I feel about school right now.
Serious.
I just want to get busy again.

I was donating plasma today and one of the phlebotomists asked me what plans I had for today. I sincerely/sarcastically told her that I had no idea and I could not wait for school to start.

Her reply : "Really?! That is like the first time I have ever heard that...."
My reply: "Well, I have nothing else better to do."

But honestly, I cannot wait for school to start. I truly miss the busyness of everything in Nauvoo. Every minute of every day was planned out and accounted for. To come back and not have anything to do is HARD.

But I am still excited.

Maybe in 2 weeks I will look more like this.
