SOH-CAH-TOA

So for those of you who took a Trig class in High School, maybe you remember this phrase:

SOH-CAH-TOA

ask me what it stands for, I can't tell you because I have no idea......(well I just don't remember)

On Wednesday, this past week, I decided to walk up to the health center to see if they check could check out my foot for me.

You see, while I was in Nauvoo, my big toe was acting funny. There was some swelling on my toe, right next to my toenail and I had no idea what it was. So what did I do? Ignored it, of course!

When I got home, I showed my mom who said it looked like an ingrown toenail. OUCH!
First time I ever had one of those! I tried to get it the best that I could and I thought I got it all.

But a week later it was not getting better and I had NO idea what was wrong.

So now I am at the health center, sitting on a big blue chair in front of a Podiatrist.  He heard my whole story and said that I had a severe ingrown toenail. He numbed my toe and cut it out. (the needles with the anesthesia was worse than the actual cutting)

He wrapped my toe and made it the size of a golf ball. Then I walked back home.

He gave me instructions to care for my toe which included soaking it twice a day.

So it is Saturday night and what am I doing?
SOH-CAH-TOA....
get it?
 :)

  1. Sine = opposite/hypotenuse
    Cosine = adjacent/hypotenuse
    Tangent = opposite/adjacent

    Haha, I hope you feel better!
