The last Hurrah

So this will be my last time emailing while on my mission.
I want you all to know how much I have grown. I love my Savior more than anything. When He suffered for me, he suffered for everything I go through. But that is no reason to sorrow, instead it is reason to rejoice.. "And Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have joy."

The purpose of existence is to have joy. True and pure joy.

I know that I am in Nauvoo for a reason. The reason for which I am still waiting to find out but I trust that the Lord is shaping me to be the person that He needs me to be. A daughter of God who needs to do certain things but can only accomplish them if I endure my trials here well. And if I am willing to learn and grow closer to Him.

I know that each individual is loved by God. He is mindful of us and our trials and the happiness we experience.

I was able to go see a Pageant Vignette that talked about the King Follett discourse.
One of my favorite things that I loved from that was the If God were to come and see us this very second, we would see someone that looks just like us. He was a man that has been exalted.

Then another Vignette was about missionary work and it was the story of Heber C Kimball and Brigham Young shouting, Hurrah for Israel. There was a moment that Heber had with his wife who was sick and he said "You cannot even stand!"and she replied "I can stand. Look, I am 10 feet tall inside!"

What power we can be given from God, our loving Father in Heaven who wants so badly for us to return and live with Him again.

I know this Church is true. That statement has affected many people who I have talked with while they have been in Nauvoo.  I say it to them, because I know it's true.
I believe in a God who is all powerful and all knowing.  He is merciful and kind, but also full of justice and judgment. I thank Him each and every day for the love He shows unto me.
I love you!
I cannot wait to see you in 16 days!!
